This Betaine is guaranteed 95%  anhydrous, and  has long been used in aquaculture diets to help aid nutrient digestibility, growth and feed conversion. It has also been shown to help reduce the negative effects of ion imbalance during periods of salinity stress by supporting faster restoration of cellular ion balance after seawater  transfer.
